Hi! I'm reading many reports about crashes here. Does autolevel work fine? Since I flight my bigger birds with an autoelvel/rescue enabled system (I moved all my helis to Brain FBL four years ago) I've had no crashes any more.

Auto level works fine - it's a very smooth heli and the gyro is soft mounted

Yes autolevel works perfect for me. I crashed a lot because I am eager to try new things and the Gyro switch (for switching between 3D/autolevel mode) on my DX6i makes it hard to switch quickly so I crashed... Also I crashed a lot in low altitude so I guess there is no hope even if I flip that switch quickly enough..

Anyway it works great.

Bad luck again. I hit autolevel/rescue today during an emergency, but I was still going to hit a low tree so I then flipped the TH. It did hit into the tree and fell from about 2 meters high onto the grass. I then stripped 2 servos. I should have done the servo saver mod.. I thought I didn't need it since I crashed >20 times and the servo still holds well. Who knows...

Nice glad it came soon. Still mine is fine with 1.02 so I don't think I'll mess with it

Align replied V1.1.1 fixes spektrum issues but didn't say what issues. I saw v1.0.2 is gone from the firmware list so only v1.1 and v1.1.1 are available now. I'm hesitant to try that out... Been good and flying well with v1.0.2 currently.

Hmm... On my android tablet the GRS app v1.1 still list firmware v.1.0.2 as available.

Anyone tried firmware 1.1 yet?

Updated my 150X to v1.1.1 firmware. Flew one battery and looks like the power drop and twitchy servo problems for DSMX satellites are fixed.

Also, the heli seems more stable compared to v.1.0.2.

Just saw V1.0.2 is back on the list in the APP now after "re-downloading" software. It must have been added back just now

I'll try v1.1.1. Thanks for the report!

Ran 4 batteries with v1.1.1 firmware so far, no power drop or twitchy servo problem with DSMX satellite.

Rolled back to v1.0.2 again, from v1.1.1.

Although v1.1.1 seems to have solved the problem of sudden power drop with DSMX satellite, I found another problem - sometimes the heli could not spin-up.

Went back to v1.0.2 and now the 150X spins up every time.

my 150X did that occasionally on both of the older firmwares. i could go up to full stick and it wouldnt move but if i turned the blades or pulled the battery it would work fine. im gonna to give v1.1.1 a shot once i back up.

I see. Good luck and let us know your findings.

It's strange to me that v1.1.1 would cause a new problem, namely failure to spin-up, even at full throttle. For a moment I was kind of depressed, because I thought my ESC was going bad and I need a new one.

Good thing v.1.0.2 is still available (would not have tried v1.1.1 otherwise). Even though the motor stutters 2 to 3 times during spin up with v.1.0.2, it always spins up without fail. My old 150 never stuttered during spin-up though. Strange.

it makes that pitchy beeping whine sound as its doing that, mine does that too. our 150Xs havent been without problems have they....lol

i tried to find the metal gear set to replace i all my servos but could only find one set. i felt it better to get either 3 metal sets or just stay with the original plastic sets because i read the metal sets slow down the servo some. i didnt want to have one of the servos with a different speed than the others if that was the case. either way im grounded until some time next week with my lil heli but i got to fly the bigger one last thursday, beautiful day @ about 75 degrees with light winds. they felt so stable and i felt so much more comfortable flying them with the stick time i got using my 150X.

happy holidays to you all

I've flown 12 times now on v1.1.1 and I've had no issues yet. It's working really well for me.

Any one have tips on measuring +/- 10 on collective pitch. Only thing that pop to my head is using the blade length, distance between blades facing in same direction and distance from the ground to each blade and do some trigonometry. I should be able to figure out each blades angle and come up with a table. Anyone else have any other ideas.
