Default Trex 150 carbon tail boom works fine on 150X

Hi,

I got tired of bent tail booms when my 150X crashes.

So I tried to put a spare Trex 150 carbon tail boom on it.

It works! Looks like the 150 and the 150X boom are the same length and width (though the 150 boom and the 150X boom have different part numbers from Align).

FYI.

How does the carbon tail boom crash compared to the 150X's? Will it break easily? Thanks for sharing!

It's much tougher. It won't bend, but will eventually crack after a dozen or more crashes. (150 carbon boom is wider than those of HCP100S or V120D02S - 3.5mm vs. 3.0mm).

In 2 years of flying my 150 I think I only replaced the carbon boom once or twice.
