Default should Burgen use one of these?

Lets talk Larry into building some frames for one of these engines. It looks like it would be an easy deal

You buy the engine and I'm sure Larry will use it.

Chad,
Even if you converted your Bergen to this, you'll still have to learn how to autorotate better!

Daywalker,
Thanks a lot!
FYI, My gasser on floats autos a lot better than the Venture 30 on floats did!

Chris, it was great to see your Dad again at the Performance Hobbies funfly. Lets talk turbine! My 2 gassers need another friend to play with.

Chad,
I think you got me confused with another Chris at the Funfly. I'm the one you helped setup the shogun for.

Sorry Chad,
Didn't know that there was another Chris on here. The shogun flies very well. If it weren't for you I'd still be stressing at figuring stuff out. Thanks again so much. I aquired a used Hummingbird CP like I was telling you at the jamboree. It's CCPM so it's a challenge to set up. I'm trying to work out the setup slowly but surely and then I'm going to turn it into a scale dauphin. I really like those bergen gassers. Come spring I was thinking about going nitro, but I am actually considering going with Bergen. I'm getting better at hovering and I can hover nose in now, So I'm getting better as I go since I actually started getting into the Hobby in May. I just have a difficult time when all of the sudden I get a big gust of wind. That's why I usally practice indoors. But thanks again!

turbines are so expesive! Even more so then Electric. I mean is there profit for Bergen to get into this area of power?

who could touch the 2500-3000$ mechanics cost of a tubine Intrepid??

I want a E Intrepid bad! But a turbine is one Bergen heli Id have no interest in, like a ferrari.

Garland...I guess it is all in what your perspective is...once you get bit my the turbine bug it is hard to look back...No doubt they are expensive, and I am not thinking they will be coming down very much under $5K to $6K for a 3D'able turbine Bird. I am in the market for a second Wren 2-Stage turbine at the moment...

I would be the first one in line if Bergen came out with one...As long as it is powered by a Wren 2-stage system. I think there would be decent market for an American made turbine bird...I think Bergen could sell a few of them...

Cheers,

It would be nice to have a few more US guys flying Wren...I only know of about 3...maybe 4 of us flying the Wren 2-stage system here in the US right now.
