Trex150x does not bind to Transmitter

Hi folks,

finally I acquired the new Trex150x.

Unfortunately this model doesn't bind to the trnasmitter. I tried both Futaba T6 transmitter with S-FHSS and Spektrum Dx9 with an extra Satellite.

I installed the 150 GRS App on my Samsung 5 Phone. I could bind my mobile via Bluetooth to the Trex150x and I chose either Futaba S-FHSS or Spektrum DSMX and saved it.

Could anybody tell me the Reverse settings for the transmitter. Maybe I have to "Reverse" the throttle channel ?!

An addition:

It would help to get the complete transmitter settings:
Futaba T6 and Spektrum Dx9.

When I try to bind my Spektrum Dx9, the satellite afterwards has a solid red light, but the 150 GRS continues flashing !! Any idea ?!

Just to double check when you "saved" it did you press confirm/disconnect And let the heli program it into its memory before removing power?

Idk about futaba. Red light throws up a flag. Are you using the correct sat/tx combo/protocol?

Really not as experienced as 1/10 of the guys here, maybe they can chime in about that red light.

I will have to double check my settings when I get home today but it is likely either a Reverse or end point issue. If it does not see 0% throttle it will not bind.

I managed to get a connection to my Spektrum DX9 now.
Obviously you need to run the whole calibration process and define the range of your sticks and don't get below -100.
Everything is saved.

But the binding still cuts of after a minute.
Probably still something is wrong.


I honestly regret buying this bird.

The Trex150x runs now after two days.
I managed it with my Spektrum Dx9 and a DSMX Satellite.
The secret is exact programming. The transmitter needs to be exactly in a -100 position.
If it is only -95 or -105, then it doesn't work.
All sticks need to be exactly calibrated.
Afterwards level exactly the servos on 90°.
Set Collective Pitch range.
If any parameter is not correct, the 150 GRS shuts down.
