No i ment the new fuselage design from this topic. Was looking good, hope it's still in progress. Am surprised there are no fuselages available yet that fit the TDR since it's used for speed flying already for a long time. I know the speed gains are not that dramatic but it sure looks a lot better and think many TDR flyers would be interested.

yes exactly! That's a beautiful fuse, is that a self made? I just had enough of pod and boom! look at the fixed wing guys, all glass and carbon fiber these days with gorgeous looking models! It's time our heli's move away from looking like flying broomsticks as well. I always loved the look from the F3C fuselages some years ago with the retracts!

I've seen his fuse, didn't know he makes more of them. Beautiful look, he should get those produced in bigger numbers, i'd take two for both of my TDR's!! Nice paint job as well btw, looks great in blue!

Greets fellow freaks! i apologize for my long absence from the forums and this project but so many factors in my life made it necessary. On a pleasant note, I have recently established a little co-op with a well known manufacturer and they have expressed interest in taking up manufacturing of a fuse for the TDR. As designing is my main capability and my time is limited this can work out great if the interest is there. This bound to impact eventual pricing positively as had I tried to under take the manufacturing of a small series, I couuld not hope to come close to the same pricing as can now be offered. Besides I do not have the experience in CF/GF molding that is now available, not to talk of the painting expertise that goes along with this deal.
So, anyone still interested?
I am willing to fulfill the design of a two to three part fuse for the TDR as is but I will not make any attempt att modifying Jans excellent mechanical design.

I think you mean this guy!

Looks really great. What I have in mind on the other hand are ready painted and manufactured where they would probably be priced a little lower. His fuse looks exactly like RJ's fuse, my design will be a little different. I had to drop the CAD work on the last but I will start afresh this week.

My speedfuse project is presented here because its a commercial project. I would like to get feedback about the design from you. Next week will be the first real pictures available.

Fellow pilots

I would like to know if anyone has the upper frame of the TDR in
PDF or Corel or any kind of format that I could use to make the TDR frame in one piece instead of lower and upper.

Every help is welcomed.

@sakisd: HeliFreak is of course a global community, but in case you haven't noticed, posts on the general forums are in English.

While we can always translate via Google, I'm not following what you're trying to communicate:

Your second post says:

It's always good to learn words in other languages (I grew up speaking 2 languages) -- I just had no idea that he was replying to you. All good...

Wow! I never would have picked up on that.

I just saw this movie for the first time about 4 months ago. Too many of my friends made references to it for me not to give it a watch.
