So I just finished My rex 600. I've been flying my rex 450 for about a year now and I just made the step to the 600 and I'm pretty excited about it. I haven't gotten a chance to maiden this guy yet because I'm waiting on my lipo charger. The LHS didn't have one big enough so I have a few days of being impatient before I can fly. I figured I'd post my pictures here that way there was evidence that it was in one piece at least once in it's life.

I also would like to thank everyone here on helifreak! I've learned so much here reading what others have to say. I wish I knew more and could contribute, but I suppose I'll get to that point someday. In the mean time, Thanks everyone!

Ok New picture out at my flying area which is also our parking area. Makes it easy to have a work bench as well.

Love those twin canopies!

Gyro on top == bad though on the 450!

gyro on top bad why? , i've always run my gyro on top like that.... keeps the weight closer to the rotor. if your reffering to crash damage , i've put the 450 in on the head a few times and no damage to my gyro...

Its only a matter if time. The flybar whacks the gyro in a crash when mounted on top. I get emails weekly from people who have had it happen. A $30 crash turns into a $170 crash. Luckily you haven't wacked yours so far. Hope I haven't jinxed you!

It the same reason we put our rudder servos on the left side.

Rick
