Default Night Blades

So I have made 5-6 sets of night blades in the last 2 months. Now I have a Oxy3 been thinking about the idea. I have everything to do it. I have made small as 325mm up to 690's. So far everyone has been happy with them. I will let you guys know how it turns out on 255's. If anyone is up at Abaline TX funfly this weekend look for me. I will have everything to build some. Colors are Red,Yellow,White,Green,Blue battery is MCPX 240mha

I would like to try and build some for the Oxy. Crashed last weekend and waiting for my shipment from Shannon at onlyfinehelis. Should have ordered 2 sets of blades so I could try this.

I will try and update when I get them built. Maybe use the new blades or buy some others?

Matt and I worked on our night OXY 3's last night.

Mine has the lighted skids.(inside is white, outside amber)
Now for the blades.
Matt flew his set up but without blades without blades he lost orientation and it didn't end well and he had to rebuild. (Lot darker than the cell's video makes it look)

Matt's First night flight (2 min 47 sec)

Mine is 4s bird and the lights are powered by a EOX 3s 460mAh on underside the belly.
Matts is a 3s bird and a Thunder Power 3s smaller mAh underside of the belly.

Yea we just need night blades now... because as you can see, I lost orientation on that video at then end because I could not see how far the heli was tilted, and crashed.

The DIY blade kits from perfect regulators are still on back order, so maybe have to ask RSPIEGEL (see posts above) if he ever built some, and if so how they turned out.

Nothing fancy we had to fly before they were shutting the lights off because we had to leave.

I never flew in a gym before and being a new build didn't want a box for taking it home.

Night OXYs display. (4 min 56 sec)

Was a lot of fun!!!! Need to get night blades for them and take them out side for the real test!!!! Seems like they handle the extra weight well!!!

I have to get a few more flights in to learn the response, but mine seamed to be ok with the extra weight. I have very little difference in pitch control. Even using the Black and White 255's.

Are there any night blades in that size you can buy? Never heard about such small blades?

Great build videos Rich. Some videos meander a bit, but these are to the point. You might want to cross post on the Night Flying forum if you haven't yet. This is a good step by step for any size blade.

My only suggestion would be a quick add to each title with what's inside. eg Overview, Component selection, wrap up, etc.

Thanks for the comment JWeber... Not sure we will edit anything at this point, but if anyone has any questions on them, that is me in the video with Rich so happy to answer any question on here. We tried to make them short, but still get the basic info on it... going into to much more detail would have made it ramble on and on. I can provide more detailed component info if anyone has trouble with that as well.
