Default NEW speed blades coming from Xblades ?

I saw a picture on facebook from Robert Sixt with a new blade, they are X baldes and it's on his TDS so I suspected that they are some new speed blades. Did some of you guys know more about this ?

Best regards Joeri

You mean like the Mikado VTX blades that have been available since last year?

As explained by their designer, VTX blades while more efficient than your average blade are not designed for speed nor high rpm!

I don't know a lot about helicopter blade airfoil design but man do those look good. Interesting how the root of the blade seems to be elongated and moving the thrust providing part of the blade outward Very unique design. Hopefully we will get to see these at IRCHA.

The XBlades (717) Robert and Michael are testing are a very special design made only for speed, and they have been in testing for well over a year, it takes time to make a perfect speed blade, the long root helps with pitch up problems (blade stall) but they are very close now so hence the release of the photo,
I'm hoping to get some in the next month or two
