Default Li-Po Pack Size

Hey guys, I'd like to make sure one or more of these will fit the 250 (and not be too heavy)

Has anyone tried a CellPro 3s 1000mAh <http://www.fmadirect.com/detail.htm?item=2308&section=69> in the 250? It's 19mm thick, 79mm long and 35mm wide and weighs 108grams.

If not, how about this 750mAh pack: <http://www.fmadirect.com/detail.htm?item=2206&section=69> at 16mmx33x58 and 61 grams

or this 950mAh pack:
<http://www.fmadirect.com/detail.htm?item=2208&section=69> at 18x34x65 and 86grams

I'm also thinking about an Outrage pack.

What IS the max size that will fit in the Trex250?

Thanks!

Anything over 80-85 grams is going to make the heli really nose heavy.

I'm using the Zippy 1000 3s 25c batteries and their dimensions are 18x36x73mm. 79mm seems very long. It should work with the yellow lightning canopy which is bigger. To get my batteries to fit on the stock canopy, I moved the canopy mounting holes back about 1/4 of an inch and this did help but it's still tight. My packs are 86g.

The outrage packs 3s 800 are 18x25x73mm.

The Align 3s 850s are 22x30x55mm.

The TP 3s 1320 are 19x34x65mm.

I hope that gives you a little insight on size.

Thanks George & Joe.

I have not had good luck with TP batteries and had EXCELLENT performance with CellPro Revolectrix hence my intent to use that brand.

I have however flown the new Outrage pack in my mini-Titan and was pretty impressed (power-wise). I'm not sure how many good cycles I'd get from them however.

I'm currently testing a Zippy 3s 2100 (just as a "warm up" pack) but it has the same punch (new) as my 100+ cycle CellPro's.

Guess I'll try the 750mAh Cellpro and an 800mAh Outrage.
