Default Wooden Blade energy transfer

I have a bunch of the old wooden blades and have been using them on these old FB 400's. I just read comments elsewhere of someone complaining they transfer more energy in a crash breaking more pieces like the grips. I had thought it would be the other way around with CF being tougher ?

I do like the wood on these when balanced. The heavier weight seems to aid stability. I also have a bunch of CF and FG 325's I could be using.

Any of you out there who flew these back in the day have some real world experience on this ?

I have lots of experience with crashing with wood blades. They don't transfer anymore then CF blades. I have only replaced 2 sets of main blade holders,an that wasn't because of wood blades. I don't even want to use CF blades right now. My personal preference is for the wood blades. Call me old..
