Yeah, maybe. It is nice when you have a nice bright canopy with blades that match the bright color. When i was flying Zeal I always wanted them to sell black/white blades. Not all canopies have a matching color from Zeal and bright green blades didn’t really match with a dark red canopy

I’m good now with black/white Align, VTX, and RotorTech Blades. Aesthetics aren’t everything, but they are something

That's definitely disappointing to see as I was really hoping that they would have been able to resolve the issue and improve their manufacturing process by now to some extend at least.

To answer your question of why someone may use them like myself, can be described by the notion that not every product results in the same end user experience. I am a firm believer of using a product which works for you and not necessarily for someone else. I have had plenty of higher end brand products fail on me and as a result won't use them again however I am aware of many other people that uses those brands without issues. It all comes down to your own personal experience with a certain product and/or brand. For myself I have been flying zeal blades for over a year now and have been through several sets of blades not experiencing any issues myself. That alongside simply enjoying the sound, the feel and the look of these blades are the main reasons why I still fly them.

How is zeal still in buisness. After hearing and witnessing all these failures durring flight is disturbing and should make people a little uneasy when thinking of which set of blades to go with. I personally wont ever buy zeal blades again... i wouldnt fly them even if they were given to me.

Are these blade failures still happening (or have enough stopped using them that the stats don’t mean anything anymore)

I never had a failure. I stopped buying them because there would be a 20 gram weight difference between matched blades or the bushing were pressed in crooked or the the bushing was elongated......For the less expensive Blade helis I would fly them, but the savings for the larger 550-800 size just doesnt justify the risk for me.

zeal 210, balancing is horrid.. both blades are full of tape to get them even.
