Default How to operate the retract servo?

I am trying to figure out where to connect the retract servo (FBL unit or receiver) and how to operate it from the transmitter.

My equipment:

1) Jeti DS-16 radio
2) Jeti REX7 receiver
3) Spirit Pro FBL unit

Thanking you in advance

Should be able to run it on any of the 1-7 slots directly on the RX. It's just a separate channel. I am assuming you are running PPM or UDI from the Spirit on E1 or E2 of the RX.

Neither. I am using the Jeti EX Bus.

Not sure if this helps since I run the r9 rx.

-SAT goes to FBL (using a Demon)
-Ext comes from Esc
-retract servo plugs into channel 8 on rx

Yes. I activated channel 8 and named it "Retract". I connected the retract servo to Pin #4 on the REX7. I assigned the function to switch SH on the Jeti.

Trying to do this....I guess theres no work around, it has to be connected in channel 1 on the R3 I was hoping I could use ch 9 so I would have my 8 ch for the FBL....hum

I'm on the Ikon2.

For the retract servo I'm using a JR 387HV I used those in F3P indoor planes...fit like a glove exact same height as the supply Gaui one.
