You need to use the small 1s/2s unbalanced preset on the charger.

This seems to work other way around - by un ticking checkbox I Get
#34 wrong cell count or with tick #20 Bad cell count OR #19 no pack on bump

manual settings - Lipo - 2S Accu or normal charge

This is covered on page 69 in the manual here:

Special LiPo preset designed for charging small Park Flier type batteries that are not equipped with balance connectors. "

where as - in my example all I have is balance connector.

Okay, wasn't sure how you had it connected.

There are a few options:

1) You're going to need to use a balance board adapter as shown in your first post.

2) Makeup your own lead between the pack and main leads on the charger and charge as unbalanced.

3) Build a lead from the mains on the charger to your existing balance board which would essentially have you make your own version of option 1 above. This is a bit more challenging so be careful wiring it up if you go this route.

The Micro ParaBoard you linked to looks like the best option.

I have a Trex150 too, so i went with similar #3 above - created a jumper with a female Deans connector on one end and XH on the other end (center wire is left unconnected). So I just plug this into my MPA and then plug the batteries into the XH connectors of the MPA to charge. Just make sure you dont leave the jumper plugged in and connect something other than 2S to the MPA.

I was a bit hesitant to recommend option #3 for the reasons you identified. If you're not careful, unintended results can occur resulting in more $$$ damage than purchasing the specially made balance board for this application. I don't use those packs, but if I did, I'd get the balance board to mitigate the chances of me making mistake and creating a random smoke generating (RSG) circuit.
