Default I could use some help/advice

I've been out of the hobby for a few years now, but recently been sucked into fpv racing.

I need some help figuring out where to start. I've got a spectrum dx6i and a good charging set up. I've been flying a nano qx and practicing on fpv-freeride as often as I can.

I'm thinking that I'd like to build one, but I'm having issues figuring out what size would be good to start with. I'm looking at either a smaller 120/130 size or a larger 220/250. I'm also needing help figuring out what gear to to use so its a little more beginner friendly.

I'd like to start with line of sight first then add fpv gear later.

And last, what's the etiquette for posting trades? I have a couple of helis and cars I'd like to try and trade for quad stuff.

Thanks for any help.
Ken

If you have enough room go with the 5" size. I've had better experience with larger props. 3" props cost as much and seem to explode even when crashing in the grass.

I'm leaning toward the 220/5" size. They're all too cool, its hard deciding which one to start with

Any thoughts on a mild set up?

Emax 2205 2300kv on 3s is a great place to start. They become ballistic on 4s. You only need 20amp esc.
