Default Building a 250 racer style for line of sight flying

So it may sound weird but that's what I want to do! I want to build a 250 size quadcopter that's really quick, basically a fpv racer without the fpv gear (tho later I may add that) but I want one I can set up like my blade quads where I have a Acro mode for flips and all that but a self leveling mode for fun just to speed around. Now with the blade stuff you can get a nice lean going and get good speed bank corners hard but still have that self leveling. Can a naze32 or similar be set up like this as well with proper tuning? I've looked all around but it seems most just use these style boards for fpv racing and only use Acro mode which I can fly in but for me sometimes it's more fun to have self leveling and just speed around. Gives me a more relaxing flight after flying my helis so I can relax and just fly without much thinking if that makes sense. I've got everything else picked out I'm just stuck on the flight controller. I want it to be comparable to blades set up on quads where I have the best of both worlds so hopefully someone can guide me in the right direction. I don't want to just buy a 200qx or something cause I already have that and others. I want to build something even faster that can run on 3s or 4s but have that nice feeling self leveling mode and then later when I have the cash I'll get the fpv gear and give that a go and already have a quad that can do it.

Hopefully I'm posting this in the right section. I wasn't really sure where to go with this. And if anyone has some videos of a naze32 or similar flying in self leveling mode I'd love to see it. I can't seem to find any good videos of that. Thanks in advance!

Its the firmware that does this. Would recommend either CleanFlight or LibrePilot to start with. Most would lean towards CF but ..meh. LP was easier for me since I had older hw and the quad flies great for my expectations and skill level. Either will allow you to configure multiple flight modes with many varying levels of stabilization. From 'English butler holding a tray' to 'balancing a live seal on the palm if your hand'. Naze32 is supported by both firmwares but there are other options for flight controller hardware.
My experience coming from mild sports flying CP helis is that the flight experience is very similar. In Acro mode they remind me of fast 300 or 250 sized helis. Fast and nimble if set up right. Can quickly go pear shaped if you don't keep a grip. The more stabilization you add the easier it gets until you're wishing you had more roll and yaw and centering the sticks makes it calm and level.

Ok cool, I just wanted to be sure that there was some way to get a really stable but fast flying self leveling mode with a build like this before investing. I'm sure eventually I'm going to get a fpv setup but for now I just want to build the quad and have that to fly los then when I have the funds I'll get some good goggles and already have the quad ready! Thanks for your advice! Much appreciated!
