Smile Post your Belt CP pictures here !

Why not start a thread where anyone can post Belt CP pics ? So please grab your camera and start posting everybody.

I’ll start right away, with a somewhat strange pic... Some weird but helpful guy, wearing a Compass hat and a Spektrum T-shirt, assisted a fellow club member today to get his Belt CP V2 into shape. It needed some work at the ball links and such. To my big surprise, I found a picture on my camera of the helping dude posing with a Belt that is even not his own heli. Must be my little boy that took the pic, he’s always messing with my camera. Never mind, here it is, a completely stock Belt CP V2, even the blades and battery are the original ones. Amazing what a bit of maintenance can do, it flew way better after the little checkup, at least that’s what the owner said.

Still wondering who that guy might be, but he seemed to know the Belt CP well, he must have had at least some experience with it …

I think his name is Raf? No, he was in the RAF! One of the two I think?

I will post a picture of my Belt CP if I find one. I got rid of the Belt CP a long time ago, well almost, it's owned by my next door neighbour and was flying today. Or trying to fly, the tail is spinning and I don't know why. I would have gone over to help him but I was busy fixing my 600.

I purchased this wrecked, with spare parts. I've probably got more in parts and labor than a new one would have cost, but I learned a lot while rebuilding it. I end up practicing with it more than my Blade 400!

Funny thing. I have zero pics of my dear ol' gal, , or if I did they died a horrible death just like the Belt did.
Snifff, brings a tear to my eye.

Yours lasted a day then, well done. Mine went in same day that it arrived. Foolishly I thought with it being RTF, it would be ready to fly, go figure. In truth never really had chance to find out, as the maiden only lasted between 10 and 20 seconds. Maybe if I could have flown, it would have too. How hard can it be for a quick test hover to find out what it's all about. Done it plenty times on the sim.

Still wouldn't have swapped it for the world.

Cheers

Sutty

gosh sut...
mine lasted exactly 30 seconds after I switched on... I had to try the idle up button .. and even though It was fastened to a hover cradle... it went to 100% throttle at full neg pitch .. and exploded as the blades hit the boom !!

never touched the idle up button till 4 helicpoters later !!

I got you both beat. Mine didn't even get to control it. I turned it on, nothing worked, two seconds later idle up into the ceiling fan. Sad part is I wasn't trying to fly, just check things out.
