The stock CF boom is terrible. I have a CF Protos 500 boom on a stretch that is fine.

I quickly replaced the stock cf one for a 1mm thick walled cf tube. It reduced vibes to a minimum and using high quality tail blades there where no issues.
I still don't get why the Align plastic ones produces crasy vibes causing one blade to eject. |

I have two Chases still in stock form. They both have a terrible vib as you spool up then smooth out when head speed comes up. The head and tails are balanced also. I kept meaning to change the CF booms out but I quit flying the Chase at about that time. I may get them both back in the air this summer.
I will not fly plastic tail blades. It is just a personal preference. |

Yup 500 size msh boom letters down. No vibes. Even at a flat 100 (tested this trying to get gov to work on hw) i didnt even attempt the stock cf boom looks to be some cheap stuff. If u do use stock boom i do not recommend plastic tail blades because of the difference in resonant frequency it causes...
