I used this belt and slit it to make two belts. One for the Chase420 and one for the X3 420............

I made myself a guide to use. I made it just long enough to do about 3" of the belt at a time. I take my time, go slow and it comes out good.

The guide I made out of old 1.2mm CF frame piece that had a good straight edge to them. I glued two pieces of CF frames together with just about a 4mm overlap for the width of the belt. Then I took a third piece and screw down to my bench for a good straight edge to place belt against.

I place short section of belt against piece that is screwed down to bench. I then place guide on top of belt and hold it down on belt . As I hold down on guide I hold pressure on belt up against guide screwed to bench. I then slit belt using a scalpel at 3" length each time. As long as I take my time they come out good. If you rush it then you will make mistakes.
