Default NY trip in may

Hi guys.
I am going to New York for three days in may with my better Hal ( 40th birthday treat ) and was wondering if there are any good hobby shops worth seeing
We are staying a few minutes walk from grand central station.
Also any recommendations on places to eat would be awesome.

There is a hobby shop in the middle of Manhattan, it only supplies HH stuff though. It is still nice to visit.

thats my home town harlem ny. for food it depends on how much you want to spend, price range from 40 to 1000 a plat, me being a soldier i would eat near ground zero, there's a really good restaurant/bar a few blocks from there, i forget the name of the place, when i find it i will post it up on here, also if you go to 3rd ave east side from 96st and up there are tons of bars, just about two on every block. have fun
