Default Spectrum Receiver battery not balancing..

I have a Specturm LIFe Receiver Battery, 2S 6.6v 300mAh that I use mostly to do testing/setup on my heli. It's easier to just plug this into the Beastx rather than unplug the motor from the ESC.

I've found that after I've used it for a bit and it needs to be recharged, the batteries are SEVERELY out of balance and my charger (Dynamite Passport Ultra) doesn't want to charge it. When I've view the cells, one was at like 2.65v and the other at 1.33v. If I just let it sit, connected to the balance board and the charge leads, they seemed to even out, themselves, enough where I could enable the balance function on the charger.

This has happened twice now, with this battery. Any ideas?

Those batteries have a life expectancy. It sounds like you need a new one!

Two things.

Have a link?

Cycle 5 times if brand new.

I also have done the above with success.

I actually rebuild my LiPo's, and I have to cycle them about 5 times to keep the cells balanced.

It would still be helpful to know what radio you have and a link to the battery you are talking about.

I'm using it to power my MicroBeast/3 servos in my TRex 450L when I don't want the ESC powered up and am modifying setups in the Microbeast.

Thanks, in advance!
