Default Recent Promotions from Vendors

When I first got into this hobby (4 years ago) the promotions that vendors ran really catered to my interest. As of late sites that are supposed to be catered to helis mostly have quad and fpv gear on sale and little to no heli items.

What's up with that?

They're simply following the money. It's been happening a lot, unfortunately. Some abandoning their heli customers all together for multi-rotors. Major bummer ...

With Memorial Day upon us, sales are already popping up. Hope you find something you're looking for!

Experience is something you gain only after you need it.
I wouldn't mind social media so much if it didn't involve people.

I bet it's much higher than that, even from DJI sales alone.

Just look at Youtube/Facebook followings. DJI have 3.7 million Facebook "likes", where the likes of SAB and Align have about 40K each. That's a 92:1 ratio of interest if you say those 40K like both companies, which is likely.

Don't be suprised when million dollar companies drop us heli guys like dead inventory. They position paid reps to interact with the community which I guess is fine, but this market isnt exactly booming and the companies no longer consider us important to their plans. Its capitalism. Nuff said

Support companies who's PRIMARY MISSION support the HELI hobby.

Maybe it's time that we all "upgrade" to multi-rotors.

If retailers sell 20+ quads for every heli or plank sale, they must be selling nothing but truggys around here.. lol All the people I saw flying quads when they first took off have vanished.

There were quite a few but one is now flying a 230s, another is flying a small foamie plank and the rest have disappeared.

Glad to see them go to be honest. They were flying at a few of the public areas I fly at quite often and was afraid they would piss some ppl off with a camera wielding quad or something else to get rc flight prohibited in those areas.

Good thing multis are boring and they all lost interest in a month or less...lol

All the online stores have to pay the bills and if the multirotor sales keep their doors open so i can buy my helis and parts thats fine with me.

heli pilots are once again the "redheaded stepchild" of the r/c world....

what with the new DJI "spark' quad a radio isn't even necessary...in fact it is an "option".....now isn't that something that makes you go hmmmmm

yet we all tend to use the best and most expensive gear ....
