I looked into the new 7P when the Lepton first came out, but it wasn't available back then. You are probably not going to find much real-time experiences yet, but do a search at RR. Other Berg receivers have a solid reputation among e-flyers.

I did installed one (a bergh 6), while my futaba PCM was sent for a check-up. Frankly not very good...very unstable in slow and precise maneuver like landing/hovering. The thing is like .5 second behind, not decoding the info fast enough. A friend lended me a futaba 149dp pcm while I wait for the other one, and bingo stable and precise again...

With some friends we had 7 Berg 5 and 6 receivers almost 2 years ago (before CC bought the Brand). We was flying very close with small depron warbirds. It was looking good until one of us had a big problem with total control lost. We decided to check all of them. We all had FF9 Futaba radios (4 of them). Results: bird at 3 feet of the ground and with TX and Rx antenna fully deployed, none of them was working good at more than 100 meters. VERY bad products. I put one in my Tamiya R/C tank. At less than 10 meters it's OK...
