Default Manual error? Unidentified part?

I'm replacing my blade grips on my FBL MiniP, and I seem to have found an error in the manual..

On page 24 at the top in the Bag D section, the diagram clearly shows a spacer for the long stand ball grips. It labels that part MSH40109 and labels it as the "Spindle Spacer FBL". Clearly that is not what is shown nor the correct location for a spindle spacer to be installed..

I can't find anywhere what part that is supposed to be in the diagram; the washers that come with the long stand ball links in parts bag MSH41094 are nowhere close to the shown thickness, etc..

Am I misunderstanding something??

The number is wrong in the manual but the images are right.

The ball long stand grips are sold separately to the blade grips and come with the spacers needed for the ball stands.

Hmm. Ok.

The washers that come with the separate bag of long stand offs look really thin; they are clearly washers, not spacers. I guess I'll try them anyway.

Thanks!

Ok, this is odd.

Here's what I'm dealing with. As you can see in the picture below, the left long ball stand spacer just dangles loosely. If I tighten the ball link even half a turn more, it contacts the hub (which you can see I already scratched in this process. ) The opposite one works fine.

I've tried 4 different stand-offs and 2 different blade grips all with the same problem. These are brand new blade grips, stand offs, spacers, and spindle.

Looks like one of your spacers is undersized.
Can you use one off you old grips?

I think I know what your problem is. The control ball on the right grip is correct. The control ball on the left grip looks to be from a Protos 500. If the base of the control ball (fat part) measures 5mm then you have the wrong part. The threads on the 500 one are longer also so if you pulled both control balls out and put them side by side I think you will see your problem. I actually think that your spacer is fine....

Default Yep.

Yep looks like right spacer and wrong ball. Mini protos parts come in Yellow bags. Protos parts come in red bags. Some sites have them mixed together so you can see MSH parts. Other sites have them segregated into Mini Protos and Protos. Wait till the 700, those will be some big arse balls. Anyhow, people have reported misbagged parts before where they got the right bearings and skrews but a Protos grip etc. You got these spacers and balls in the same yellow bag? I guess you should send them back and get new ones. On a side note, errors aside, the part numbers in the manuals look like internal MSH numbers for individual parts. You can;t always buy individual parts you have to buy sets. Those sets have different part numbers. Very confusing system.

Hi guys, just to share...I did experience the wrong part in my mini kit when I first got it. It came with one of the dampers was a 500 damper.
As for my friend mini kit, the rotorhub (T-hub) it had a 5mm instead of 6mm diameter.
Both the distributor/reseller replaced it. so it was ok.

This was exactly the problem.

Right bag; right part number, 2 spacers and 2 control balls. One of which was JUST SLIGHTLY larger than the other.

Thanks guys!
