Default Lipo batterys which one???

Hi again, got another question im looking at getting some lipos from hobbyking for my belt cp v2...one day i will upgrade prob just a better 450size.
But was just wondering what discharge rate i should get is it worth paying extra for 30C over 25C? The batteries i am considering are:

Turnigy nano-tech 2200mah 3S 25-50C 237g $18
Turnigy nano-tech 2200mah 3S 35-75C 249g $18
Zippy compact 2700mah 3S 25-35C 215g $15
Zippy compact 2200mah 3S 25-35C 163g $12
Zippy flightmax 2200mah 3S 25-35C 173g $9
Zippy flightmax 2200mah 3S 30-40C 190g $16
Turnigy 2200mah 3S 25-35C 188g $18

I've heard good things bout the nano-techs but is it worth twice as much? (i could get an extra battery and fly twice as long), do i need 30C? (what would be best for a 450size heli), how important is the weight ?(doesnt seem much)
Thanks in advance! sorry for so many questions....

I would go with the plain Turnigys.

this is just one data point but I bought five Zippys a while back. Smaller size though. 1000mAh 3S for my X2. Two of them were not working right out of the box. One of them started working ok after some cycling. The other never did work right. I have nanos in both 2200 3S and 5000 6S and no problems so far. I also have some Blue Turnigy 2200's. They are ok too so far. One of my Nano's did open internally when I accidently connected it backwards.

There are a lot of battery threads like this. Just yesterday I posted in another one

battery mantra:
"whatever brand you choose you run the risk of getting a crappy battery."

The C rating is not so important so that is not the issue. The brand may matter but there is no definitive answer. Some people have problems with high-end Hyperions and Thunder Power.

repeat after me....
"whatever brand you choose you run the risk of getting a crappy battery."

If it were me, I'd not buy the Zippy's and get regular Turnigy or more Nanos but not because of the C rating.

+1

The blue turnigies are heavier than nano-techs but have considerably lower IR, the 40C 3000mah ones I have are just under 3mOhm/cell which is a "true" 25C pack. The 25-50C nanos I have have the IR of a 10C pack.

The nanos may do OK in a low draw situation (lots of plank folks like em) but for helis the blue ones are better IMO.

I have 8 regular 3S 2200 Turnigys and 4 Nano Tech 3S 2200s.

Running a castle ESC for logging I never found a real difference in performance. However all 4 Nanos have puffed slightly after 60+ cycles and now under perform compared with my other lipos. They weren't worth the extra 25%.

Best bang for buck for me has been 40C regular Turnigys
