Default DX8 Bank Switching

Hi all,

Does anyone have some instructions or knowledge on how to setup a DX8 so that a 3 position switch can change banks of either the tail or cyclic without the middle position setting the gains to 15%?

I have the 3 position switch above my cyclic stick and 3 position switch above throttle / rudder assigned appropriately - but I don't know how to avoid the 15% gain value when the switches are in their mid position.

I'd like to have it so the mid position just sets the gain to whatever bank 1 is set to.

For example;

Pos 1 = bank 1 gain 50%
Pos 2 = bank 1 gain 50%
Pos 2 = bank 2 gain 38%

Simply use a negative percent in the gyro menu. Example.

Bank 1 +50
Bank 2 -50

On my dx8 I use the gov menu to control cyclic gain. And the gyro gain menu for tail gyro. Just use a negative number to switch banks.

You just need to tie the gyro menu to a switch on the dx8. I use the f mode switch. But you can use whatever you like.

Thanks newb ill give this a go.

Was hoping for a solution that continued to use the enpoints to adjust the gains though.

I know what you mean Cadriel. I haven't found a solution either so I chose to use the two switches below the three position switches. I never liked my TH on that right lower switch anyways so I moved it up to the three position switch.
