The light is to tell you that you are either setting positive or negative pitch. Blue for negative, red for positive.

When changing parameter E, does dead band increase or decrease as you move to the right in the manual?
I had that set to Purple which I assume was almost no dead band, is this correct? I set it to Red B- Control Behavior is set to TX 120 ail-ele endpoints C- Pitching Up - works great at Red default G- Cyclic Responce- I reduced it from high- blue flashing- to red which enabled me to set my #1 Pot back in the middle instead of 10 0clock. H - Pitch Boost - I set to Red as well to give it a tad more pitch pop. I got 5 flights on it and it feels better in every way, not quite as much cyclic as I had so might need to bump G menu back up or just reduce expo a little as a still have a good flip rate at full stick. I had the 450 Pro flying well with the exception of a slow cyclic bounce back on hard flips and crappy hesitating tictocs and piro flips and a soft mushy collective.

yes that's correct. Purple is the smallest value, very little deadband, and then it increases stepwise up until blue which gives a lot of deadband.

Is there a tuning guide for 5.0?
I assume this tuning guide will work just the same? is there anything in particular to look out for?

Hopefully can someone help.
Goblin fireball 280 stock, 7200BX gensace 6s lipo. Issues. I full climb full collective,no cyclic input model tips right slightly so like a hard vertical circle/loop using lots of collective it exits in a part roll. my tweaking only ends with fast uncontrolled porpoising if i enter fast forwards flight my tail feels and looks ok. dial 1 does not like to be adjusted over stock. I am not to good at explaining as you can see but maybe someone can advise. Thanks Dave B. |
