Default I have a Gaui X4ll motor question

I have a X3 that I love
Putting a NX4 together.

here's my question:
I would like to get a X4ll soon.
I have acquired a KDE600XF-1100 motor NIB through a trade.
Will this motor work with the X4ll frame? What pinion, etc?
Thanks

I think it would fit but its way overpowered for it, the canopy wouldn't fit either , or it would need to be trimmed a lot . I have a stretched x4ii swinging 500 mm blades and the stock x5 motor is more than enough. don't let that put you off though, it just my opinion

Default KDE500XF-925-G3

I have the X4II with the KDE500XF-925-G3 on it. Its lighter than the stock Scorpion motor and has almost the same specs if not better that the Scorpion. The KDE500 has a 41mm diameter and a length of 37.5mm w/c fits perfect in the X4II, the KDE600 has a 46mm diameter and a length of 56mm, so you might have to trim your canopy a bit to make it fit. I used the stock pinion on mine. You will like the KDE motor, less maintenance compared to the Scorpion and according to KDE specs the KDE600 makes a ton of power, dunno what pinion to use for than.

Judging from the fact that the stock motor sticks through the canopy the kde should fit without modifications as long as it doesn't hit the rotor head or the swash.

The stock motor is 50mm in diameter while the kde 600xf 1100 is 46mm in diameter. It is a fair bit taller and waayyyy too powerful. But when is that ever a bad thing? For the stock length blades I would use at least a 15-16t pinion.
