Framerate drop on full screen

Hello.
I´m suffering a drastical framedrop when I toggle to fullscreen on 1080p.
If I use the windowed mode with 1080 canvas, I get about 1200-1300 fps, but toggled to fullscreen, which is almost the same graphics load, I get a nasty framerate of about 30fps.
Anybody else has noticed this extrange behaviour?

Believe it or not, I couldn't tell the difference in image quality between a frame rate of about 1000 and that of just under 70. Maybe I am missing something I don't know I'm missing, not sure. But, the object I am focused on is very clear.

between 60 and 150 fps you can only notice some kind of smoothness, but I'm getting 30, what's not nice
