Anyone know the most recent firmware number for the 230S V2? I asked HH and they said there has not ever been an update for the V2. Possibly not, but he still never answered my question about the firmware number.
Just FYI, I have learned more from this forum and you guys about these heli's than from calling HH. It seems every time I do the only solution/suggestion they have is "send it in". They used to be better at offering advice in the past. Now, I need to check a few things on mine that you all have said to correct a few issues that I (and others apparently) have been having. Thanks |

@TheFox
Great work there! I also checked out your link to other scale builds, wonderful! The head on this; is it Rakon's four blade for the 130x? I have been looking for a four blade head for the 230s but haven't been able to find one! |

Its Rakon's Fourblade for the 200S, as far i know. I purchase all Parts from "Heli Scale Quality" in Germany, (its international, though) so i got the rotor head from them. Linkage ist noch longer available from Rakonheli, but HSQ now make the Linkage theyrself, so no Problems.

I don't remember Rakon ever did a four blade head for either the 200srx or the 200s but I could be wrong. Those are both fixed Pitch with a different type of head. If they ever did, it is now discontinued.
I thought the 200 series used the blade grips from the 130x but I was wrong on that when I checked. There was both a four and five blade Rakon head for the 130x; I have several of both in my stash. Rakon never did the linkages, they used the linkages from the 130x four blade head from the Blade Red Bull. The swash from the four blade head for the 230s is modified from the standard swash to take the four linkages. I suspect he is using the Rakon 130x blade grips, maybe with a custom hub, I think those hub pins are from the Blade 130x Red Bull hub. It may even be the Rakon 130x hubs modified for the thicker main shaft. All very interesting! Last edited by naga; 11-24-2019 at 08:31 AM.. Reason: Corrected some errors |

I checked, You are right. Swashplate for Fifeblade is made by a 3D-printed Adapter. (I have made a MD250N with Fifeblade and working NOTAR Tail allso). The Special linkage rods made similar to the ones from the Red Bull Head are 3D printed now.

Your NOTAR is amazing!
Those grips and hubs definitely look like the Rakon stuff for the 130x. The grey linkage rods and metal pins are certainly from Blade for the 130x Red Bull, those other linkage rods in white are 3D printed. The Blade grey linkage rods will work fine for a four bladed head but my guess is they will be out of phase for a five blade head as discussed earlier with input from Kiwi_Craig. |
