Default Trex 500 GF help needed

Guys I'm building the align trex 500 GF version and I have two questions.
1. On my radius arms it shows an A , my manual shows the A going to the inside which is surely wrong is'nt it? My manual actually shows the A to the inside in two different plan views. Doesn't the A have to go to the outside? The Finless video confuses things a little because he has a B on his radius arms which do go to the inside. Are my radius arms a little different and my manual wrong? Which way do I connect mine?

2. On the Finless videos regarding the mixer arms he has 2 long ball links and 2 shorter ball links. The manual for the 500 CF version is online and clearly shows this arrangement. My problem is my manual shows all 4 the same length and that's all I have for ball links. Is my kit different and my manual correct or should I also have two longer ball links?
Thanks guys, I hope you can help me out.

Question one the letter A or B goes on the outside no mater what letter it goes on the outside, 2nd the ball links or the balls itself, you are pointing to the balls, the balls on the sf mixing arms are smaller than the ones on the washout control arms but if you were to glance at them they look the same but lk closer and there is a difference yours is going into plastic so are they self taping balls

Hi, In order for me to get the A on the outside then I would have to reverse the link. Then the hinge on the radius arm connected to the washout control arm would be leading the ball link which hooks onto the swash. All diagrams in my manual show the ball link attached to the swash leading the hinged radius arm. Now I am more confused.

Wow I guess I must have confused all you guys here. Thanks to you two guys who did attempt to help out. From what I can see on most pics online if the A on the radius arms was on the outside my radius arms would be opposite of every other trex 500 heli flying. As for my 2nd question regarding the longer ball links. Looking at the geometry of my head I'm convinced I should have received two longer ball links for the mixer arms as shown in the finless videos. Things would be a lot closer to straight if I had 2 longer ball links. Oh well I guess I'll just have muddle through it and hope I get it close enough that I don't mash the heli too much on the maiden flight.

The longer ball links is not required on the plastic mixing arms. Even the upgraded metal arms that I eventually fitted came with the same lenght balls already fitted, just had to locktite them.

My 500GF built worked out correctly re the radius arms or swash drivers. They are marked A & B and both letters go towards the inside, look at the ball link hole and you will notice that the side with the letter on it is slightly bigger, which let you slip it over the ball on the swash.

Vinger,
Thanks for the answer, I feel so much better now knowing that I'm doing things correctly. This is the first heli I have built from a kit and also the most expensive so I"m doing my best to ensure the build is correct to avoid as many problems as possible in the air. Thanks again
