Multiple Power Sources for Servos
I have a question for those who know the answer.
At the present time I have all my servos and SK720BE powered from a single RX battery on my Velos 880. All my servos means that my cargo hook servo is also drawing power from the RX battery for its operation. It would make me more comfortable if I could use a separate battery to power the cargo hook servo. I don't want any heavy current draw from pulling the cargo pin on a very heavy load from resetting the SK and cause a possible crash. So...with having only the signal wire from my cargo hook servo connected to the SK and having the cargo hook servo receive its power another separate RX battery other than the RX battery powering the SK...will this cause a problem? My Hook.

It will work but you'll need a common ground between the two rx packs.
Basically both negatives from the rx packs will connect to the FBL bus negative (many ways to accomplish this), then the + for the cargo hook will connect to the red wire of the servo only, nothing else. Servo negative can just stay wherever you have it now since all grounds will be common in the entire system.
