Default Flying again :)

I originally had gave up after many crashes. Never could get the bird in the air longer than a few seconds. I ended up burning up 3n1 board after only a few flights. I had bought a second one on eBay and the tail rudder would never spin... So I was frustrated and gave up on the hobby all together.

Last week I was interested to see if boards came down in price (unfortunately no they have not). I decided I'd give it one more shot and ordered the third board / but was debating purchasing the cp(s) instead. I found a 3in1 for 40 on eBay so just tried my luck again... This time everything seemed to be functioning.

Last night I held my first hover and not getting ahead of my self and flying indoor I was able to land it after a 2 min hover... Feeling accomplished I charged up and flew this birdy several more times. Seems like I am getting the hang of it and now can't get enough of it. Only vary basic hovers still... Progress... #babysteps

I am debating to purchase another one now so that I can have this one as my practice bird and the other for when I get better and to show... Mine is pretty beat up but working.

Should I buy a fully upgraded nano CPX BL on eBay for 99.00 or buy a CPS? I think the SAFE will be much easier but I'm afraid I'll become to dependent and will develop bad habits.

What do you all think?

The cps is a fantastic improvement over the cpx. The pirouette ability is amazing. In stability mode it flies so easy and even in stunt mode it is much smoother and precise than the cpx. I still have my cpx as well and love to fly them. If it was me I'd get a cps and upgrade the cpx with a hp03 motor and a xp3A esc that works really well and is a big improvement on power over the cpx. There is talk of a 130s which will be a double brushless micro heli. I also still fly my 130x but it's a nightmare heli for a beginner but it will teach you a lot! Also the 180 cfx is a major step up and a lot less hassle than a 130x.

Well done for taking the Bull by the horns and getting back into it. It's a great feeling once you get the orientation down and can fly circuits. Keep it up
