I'm sure it's vbasic just to be clear. So it will cost to upgrade.

Correct. Also, you get to use the April savings ($25.00 off $200.00 or more). Still not bad if you're buying this radio:-)

It is the older version of the Neo WITHOUT VLink, so one would need the Vlink to operate it with the VBC. So not a real deal.......

I believe it's the vlink basic receiver. The basics have the gyros but they are not activated. You have to pay I think over 100.00 to activate gyros and then it becomes a vlink neo express and then you go from their to pro then rescue or pro+rescue.

I was wrong.

It appears you need a sat rx or you can add the antenna and use crossgrade app.

Deleted because I was wrong and I don't want someone to read 1/2 way down and then stop because they'll be mis-informed.

Before I went vcontrol I bought the non vlink Neo. All of them came in a box with a pic of vlink neo.

You can still use this free basic NEO with the vcontrol RC satellite correct and not need to upgrade to the vlink?

The free NEO is not a Vbasic. Its a Non Vlink NEO and utilizes the free RX included already in most radios. This is a $200 instant savings and wont last very long.

Alright, I'm back up to 100% Mikado fan, I forgot about the SAT that comes with the VBC. So it is fully functional, no need to buy the keys to the car.

My pleasure!

I changed the drop down options on each radio showing exactly what you get and what you can upgrade to in the promotion!

Some options are much better than others, such as the radio's that already include a VBASIC for $800.00.

A radio, Vbasic & Vbar NEO for $800 is incredibly awesome!
