Default Logo 700: Looking for Ball link pliers and Ball link ends

I got to the point in the build when I need to install the ball links. I noticed that the balls are huge at 5.75mm. The biggest balls I've ever seen...on a helicopter. The KDE ball link pliers will not work. Also, the plastic links are too big for my ball link ends. My fingers are very sore from turning these plastic ball links.

Are there good options for ball link pliers and ball link ends for this helicopter?

I used a vise to hold the ball link and threaded the turnbuckle using a turnbuckle tool. I used beeswax to lubricate the ball links.

That's what I did after the first link. I just figured that there may be a better option for ball link ends. How about the ball link pliers?

I wish there was a better option for the ball link ends. Love my KSJ tool, but it's too small.

I honestly don't recall the ball link pliers being and issue. I do have the FBL Rotors Ball Link Pliers, the red ones with the replaceable tips.

Those FBL Rotors ball link pliers are optimized for the 5.5mm ball links used with Synergy helis. They won't work with this Logo 700.

I had an extra ball link pliers (Revolution version of the original FBL Rotors pliers). I just enlarged the jaws with the Dremel. It works fine. My guess is that now that the jaws are a bit thinner from Dremeling, there is an increased chance for bending. Oh well.

I bought the FBL rotors ball link pliers. There still a little tight and can scratch.
I sanded (or radiused the edges with an exacto knife ) to take the sharp edge off that was doing the scratching.

I use the fbl to take off.

Because they have a angled tip I can't find a good way to get them to put on the links.

I use my old normal set to install links. revolution brand I seem to recall. Straight set no angles or curves.

I have the century helicopters hex drive set , there coloured coded and have a ball link driver on each end of them.

Been great drivers with long lasting tips. Another nice thing about them is you can take a second driver and put in the ball link driver slot and make a T handle setup to crack those tight bolts

I'm resurrecting this thread as I want to see if anyone has had success finding a set of ball link pliers that fit the Logo 700 balls?

I tried doing using my dremel like curmudgeon on an old set of JR's and when I went to use them, the jaw bent so that was a no-go.

Has anyone seen or used anything that works since then?

I believe the JR pliers (green rubber handles, about $45 back in the day, currently discontinued) are not optimal for this purpose. Amain still sells the Revolution Deluxe Ball Link Pliers I Dremeled to accommodate the Logo large diameter balls.

Thanks.
I'll give those Revolutions a try.
