Default Canopy mounting point

I have collected a supply of Hurricane stuff to keep my fleet operational like many of you I expect. I assembled a FB mid-boom from some spare parts including what looks like a CF frame of some type.

When trying to find the canopy mounting location, I realized the holes where the plastic frame mounts fit, are not present with the CF frame I have.

Has anyone seen this frame before and have any recollection on where or how the canopy pins were setup on it?

There are break-off tabs that mount onto the rear bolt of the top mainshaft mounting bolt and pivot down into the cut-out behind so that you can adjust the height.

No problem - if you don't have it you can download a copy of the manual with the CF frame option (and that [picture) from here ... http://rvmhc.com/manuals/Gaui%20Hurr...0%20Manual.pdf

I think I have a couple of those that came in a parts lot that I bought a while back. Maybe Mike can confirm if they are the right part. They are NIP and the Gaui part number on the package is 204697, and says " body retainer bracket".
If these are the part you need and don't have them, pm me your shipping address and I will send them out to you when I get some time.
My wife recently fell and broke her ankle so been extra busy lately helping her, but if you need them let me know and I will find some time to mail them as soon as I get a chance.

Thanks for the offer. I may take you up on it if my homemade solution proves more difficult than I expect to get working.

Yep - they're th eones - just a small piece of CF with 2 holes in. Thy're sacrificial in a crash to save the frame / canopy

It was difficult to find them here so I made mine by cutting the servo adapter plates for mini servos and slightly enlarging the existing holes. One servo adapter will give you 2 canopy mounting plates.
