Hey Larry,
I have a polecat in excellent condition. But it is missing the canopy and parts of the rototrhead. I was hoping to restore it back to flying condition. I already obtained a copy of the manual for it. |

http://rc.runryder.com/helicopter/ga.../POLECAT_A.pdf
There are pictures at runryder .... but because of the as----- board I can"t save or transport them here ... the above url is a whole bunch of pictures and a story about the pole cat ,, and it won't open from here either ... If you copy and paste the above url in the url box of explorer it will some times open up to the above url right . or google - pole cat helicopter - and then look for the above url and it will show you the pdf file on runryder .

Larry no way I would charge to help you out
PM me your email addy and I will send you the manual file. Also, search polecat in RR and you should find a thread where I was asking what it was after I bought it, with pics. Ok, let me see if I can attach the build PDF here; Nope didn't work. I'm on my IPad so will email it. Sorry... Last edited by heli143; 02-07-2013 at 01:12 PM.. Reason: Add file |

Thanks , I appreciate the help . I will have one of these ,, even if I have to build it from the plans myself (since I found the pdf build instructions ) ... would make a good retirement project in a few yrs

Valuable vintage
The most valuable I believe is one of the orginal 50 of Dieter Schcluter's hand built
kits. I have number six, new, uncut fuselage and all mechanics. I might consider selling it. I think Dave Keats designed the polecat, unless Faye also used that name. cheers, michael human213@gmail.com |

Yes ,, a number 6 schluter cobra would be of great value .
You are right about the pole cat too ,, I think ... some how Faye stuck in this old mind ,, probably because he was right there in the thick of the scratch building days.

Polecat
Larry, I think the plans for the polecat were from the published construction
article by Dave Keats in RC modeler. If not there, it was one of the major magaziines, so it should not be too difficult to find a set of the plans... cheers, michael |
