Default different connectors and batteries

Hey guys,
so I have my Nano with the HH BL Set and wanted to know if anyone is using different Connectors and Batteries eg. MCPx style?
I have some issues with my Lipos and was wondering if the connectors are responable.

Also I have read about some issues with the stock connectors.

So what are your experience?
Worth changing to McPx Connectors?

Thanks.

If you are referring to the connector in this link and this link, Yes, i think the battery connector does help. I have also gone to beefier wire too. Especially when you upgrade to BL, it pulls a little more power and i think it works better if there's no bottleneck in the wire or connector.

Post finally upgraded

So it's been about two years I've been taking a good care of stock 3in1 UM battery connectors as I need more skill, not power. The day has come when on spool up I was getting power cuts. Got some micro JST connectors with 24AWG wire from a web store in opposed to stock 28AWG and fired up that soldering iron.

Results? It is a different animal now!

The biggest difference is between MMW motor and HH factory brushless kit. MMW still bogs down some, whereas BLH3325 has almost the same sound all the time even with -100/+100 pitch travel. Now I can believe +20% power increase BL kit was advertised with.

Contrary to most users I went ahead and soldered ESC to 3in1 like so:

There is this excellent thread by blue92ehsi detailing how much stock connectors suck. I wasn't prepared to chop up my batteries so my approach is a bit different. Prior to every charge I just dip the battery end in an electrical contact cleaner. Usually few bubbles come out when dirty, then dry out briefly with paper towel and it's ready to accept the charge.

I definitely found my aged Miniaviation 220mAh batteries are coming down with a tad lower voltage now after fitting thicker cables.

I've used the OverSky 300mAh 45C (mCPX) battery in My nCPX HH inrunner and OverSky brushless outrunner conversions for several years...

And haven't looked back
