Setup issues

I received a hd500 with the 3z. I have done other units, but all I get is a hot mess of servos going all over the place. Can't even get remotely close.

HD500
Kontronik ESC
3x BD
MKS 9767

I installed the iKon 2 and mostly set up in less than 10 minutes and servos are all operating correctly.

after powering up, how long does it take the servo's to start acting up?

Sounds like an ESC issue, or compatibility issue. I had one similar do this and my problem was the ESC.

Let us know how everything turns out, or keep us updated.

Don't think so, working fine with iKon

What exactly do the servos do when acting up? All the time? Or only at stick movements?
More details would be helpful.

Whenever I move the sticks, other than rudder, nothing corresponds with stick movements. Also cannot reverse pitch.

Connect to the computer and clear all the previous settings start from scratch... Go through the complete setup including Tx.

Did that as one of the first things I tried.

Any news here? Did you get it to work by now?

If not, some ideas:
So all signals in the Diagnose are as expected? Push Ail stick to the right, does the Diagnose's Ail bar go right too? Is this the case for all controls and directions?
If that is all set correct, then proceed with the swash setup and servo reverse to get all servos work correct for collective first. Once this is ok, check Ail and Elev swash movement. In case, use any axis reverse needed.
Now all should be fine.

Oh, and make sure the swash mixer in the radio is at H1 / single servo. Nothing else allowed in the radio!

I finally gave up on it and put the iKon 2 on it'. I may try and mess with it later. Nothing I did made it work.

If you want, you are welcome to send the system to Danny, our US distributor. He could check it on a heli and either confirm the issue resulting from the unit, or confirm a well working unit. This would help for sure.

That would be great. It came off a working heli, so don't understand what the issue is. Was also interested in trying new system
