OK how high that number can go is based on how many cells your discharging. .90 is for 6S so you have to use that. It just takes longer to dicharge is all.

I tell you, I’m so fed up with this hobby, nothing ever works the way they tell you it will.

The discharge ran for a few hours and timed out. I hit discharge again and now it keeps coming up and saying [8] failure output circuit. So I figured set it to storage and hit charge. It comes up and says [1] voltage error or wrong polarity.

I give up!

You did set the discharge cut off voltage to 3.8 yes? If you didnt then you may have discharged them too low now.

Ooops yea 3.6 is what I meant.

When you start the charghe the display shows initial voltage reading from the pack. What is it saying?

it says 22.97 I also put a volt meter on it and got 22.93. How can this be after running for 3 hours? I did just upgrade the charger software?

I don't know the voltage is good so that isn't the problem. If the connection is bad to the charger it gives that error message. Maybe the upgrade of software didn't work right?

what should the voltage read on a discharged pack? On a 50% (storage) pack?

3.8V per cell... so if it is a 6S pack thats 3.8 X 6 = 22.8

BINGO I think that the problem!!! Since your set for STORAGE charge the pack is already at storage charge so it is complaining.... THis means the discharge to 3.6v did not complete.

I bet if you now set the charger to full charge it will start charing the pack.

nope! I tried the pack I did tonight and the pack from last night and they both get [8] failure output circuit. I guess I need to call TP tomorrow.

Thanks for your help.

Yea sounds like the upgrade went wrong. What verion of code was it on and what version did you upgrade too?

You might try reflashing the code.

I actually did it on the phone with TP the other day and it looked like it worked. I'm done for now and just put everything away but it was to the latest code. I'm just disgusted with this stuff... I thought his would be a relaxing hobby but everything I do ends up like this. Time for a new hobby I think.

Thanks for your help.

Does the TP1010 charge more than one 6s battery at a time? If not, are there any chargers that do? Thanks.

I am also very interested in this. There is enough wattage in the TP1010C to charge 2 2500 packs at almosts 2C. 4.2 x 12 x 4.0A = 201.6watts

You could, as I estimate, charge 2 packs in approximately 40 minutes. That aint bad, unfortunately no matter how you cut it the 210 will only balance 10 cells...so even though the charge could push it, what would be the balancing solution?

Ok now I have a little question, and please tell me if i'm being too fussy!?

My packs are always slightly out of balance - usually around 0.005.

Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? I've two of the 1010c and 210v and use nothing but ThunderPower and FlightPower packs.

Hehe.

Many thanks for the reply!

I'm sooooooo fussy and worry way too much. At least I know now that I was paying full attention to your videos.

Your videos have helped so so much Bob, with every heli and electronic I have/use.
