Tail Drop
I just maidened my Trex 470 LM Dominator, and the tail tends to drop. The rate of drop appears to be exponential versus linear, luckily no crash - just had to keep my thumb on the elevator to land it
I've moved the battery forward, maybe helped very slightly but same problem. I then have added sub trim in the elevator settings which seems to help a bit, but has not completely fixed the problem. I'm about to mechanically raise the rear of the swash a bit to see if that helps. Ironically (or not) I had a similar problem with a 450 flybar whenI took it out to the feild yesterday for a true maiden - I had flown it around my back yard several times with absolutely no problem, but yesterday the tail drop was sever and after a 20 seconds of total fligh attempted to land but the 450 went tail in hard - mucho damage. I had about 10-15 minutes of flight time on it in my backyard with absolutely no problem whatso-ever. Since this happened to both of my newly built/refurbished heli's Logic dictates it must me something I'm doing wrong - but swashes were leveled on both and the 450 broblem seemed to be sudden onset. Any tips I must be missing something in my setup BTW the Dominator is using AR 7210BX flybarless system which I have use on some of my other birds - I'm fairly familiar with this system

Mechanically adjusting the swash on the 470 Dominator seemed to do the trick - Still can't figure our what the problem was with the 450 Flybar which had about 5 2-3 minute hover tests in my backyard prior to the catostrophic failure at the airfield......

Check you TX to make sure the pot isn't worn out or maybe the trim got moved.
To check the TX use the monitor screen or if it doesn't have one try the calibration screen on your sim. It will show if the elevator channel is worn out. Note if you use your radio on the sim and sim lots this will kill your pots in the radio quickly. I have killed radios on the sim in as little as 100hrs of use and now don't sim with my TX I use to fly.

Relatively new Tx Dx8 Gen 2 have had it a couple months. I don't have this problem with my 3 other Heli's I fly regularly. I don't use the DX8 on my Sim.
That said I have had problems with my new transmitter with two of my Fixed wing birds - Low power and poor response - I'm going back to my old DX8 for my Fixed wing
