Default Your "E"

What is the problem with your "E"?? Do you need some parts?? Is yours the plastic head, cause I've got some extra's for that!!! I took the plastic head and tail off my "G"
and put on the metal's....Wait till you see it,,It's wild!!!! With the new hot rodded motor it SCREAMS!!!! Just ordered a Opti Tach just to make sure the HS is OK..
This motor is susposdly makin like just shy of 3hp at 31800 or so.. Unbelivable the power from such a tiny motor!!!!
I also ordered a 520 gyro for it!!!!

Since the E Smart is a off size heli ,fuses are a issue as far as a fit aren't they? I did a Defender on my T Rex 450 and have a Apache fuse coming for my 500. One of the reasons I sold off my E Smart was lack of parts and I wanted to go scale. Everything out there seems to be designed around the everything but the 550 size. Figured if I was going to go the effort to go scale I didn't want to have to shoehorn something into a fuse it wasn't designed for.

Default shafts

You can get both at lakeside heli's. I think he still has mains, for the "G" and fearhering shafts too. plastic needs 5MM metal 6MM
Let me know how you make out.. I have some of the 6MM ones.

Any scale fuselage that is built for a .30 size heli will fit the E-smart with some mods. If any of you use a 5mm feathering shaft, I think I have a couple I will give away for free. just PM me.

Hey there Fatdaddy,
nice to see you again. It's been awhile since I have been able
to read your comments.
By the way do you know I picked up a pair of nice red rubbers
a few weeks it was just like finding a gold nugget.
Yes there are still parts out there for one of the best heli's made
ESMART 600.
I can't wait to see the new model ESMART 600 or what ever they
will call it. Anyway it doe's not matter as I will be getting one or
two.

Anyway by for now,
fitzy

Default Hey Buddy!!!!!

Great to hear from you too!!!! I will be pickin up at least one of the "new??" "E"'s too. From what I was told it should be out within the next two weeks so we will see...
How's things on the "forum"?
You know I thought I would miss it but other than a couple of you guys I don't!!! Now that you have the "EXPERT" advice of the couple newer guys us old guys ain't needed anyway and I really only wanted to help out guys that had problems. Go figure some guys!!
Anyway, I hope all you guys will still come on out to my funFly, I understand Nuttsey has pulled the info about it and claims not to have anything to do with it..funny seein how he spent a couple weekends at my home helping plan it last year,... but everyone is still welcome and I sure hope many will come!!!!
Good luck in the coming season and with the new "E" once you get one!!!!

Well Fatdaddy,
The forum is going well . I miss all the Esky talk but in general the
info on other heli's is good to.
I also now have other brands EXI 500 cf , Swift 16 and my little baby
the Align Trex 250 se as well as all my Esky heli's.
Nuttsey still doe's very good video builds. But I think that he pushes
himself a bit much and really I don't know how he get's the time to fly.
This forum has also allways been very good and I have found some
good info on it in the past.
Anyway I will say by for now as I have to go and make some money for the next
Esmart heli.
P.S. I would love to get to your fun fly in but they have not built a bridge from Australia yet
but who knows what may happen in time.

Sikorsky build is going along good, but slow. Crappy weather here lately. Worst winter here in a long time. Anyway, went thru set up tonight and will test fly hopefully tomorrow and then install into fuselage for one more test flight. Then I'll finish up the fuse and reinstall everything.

Good luck with your build.
