I regularly use the futaba governors, they are very tunable

I've also used Motul 800 2T

I would NOT run the engine without installing the spiral pin clips

From discussion here, it seems that the 170/23 (7,39) gear ratio would be better than 170/22 (7,73), is not so?
the longer the blades, the shorter the gear ratio for best results

the engine does not have a great deal of torque to overcome taller gear ratios unless you are reducing the size of the blades

Yes, I understand. My target is to fix engine RPM under lets say 15,5k. To be able to do so and achieve suitable head speed, it would be better 7,39 gear ration (with 600 size blades).
Lets calculate - 15,3k on the crank with 7,39 and the result is about 2070 on the rotor.
I think that somebody tested 7,35 gear ration with 620 blades and 15,8k on the crank with Goblin 570. This should be similar.

Or to use standard gear ratio and 620 blades maybe.
Lets calculate - 15,3k with 7,73 on the crank and the result is about 1980 on the rotor.

I do not know whether the 23T pinion fits in the conversion without frame modification, but I already have:
- 600 Align blades
- 623 EDGE blades
- 23T pinion as I mentioned before.
- full kit of 600NFL
I am waiting for the conversion, which should come this week. I am going to test whether the pinion fits there. If so, I would test the combinations and let know the result.

Anyway, I compared fan shround for 700N with placed GFORCE SHO fan with 600N fan shround and the 700N one is little wider - would not be better to little close the hole and add some e.g. epoxi glue inside the 700N fan shround to make it more tight for the 600 size fan? Would not be the fan more effective in this case?

I can not upload attachment here, well, the photos are here:

How do you think Carey?
