![]() I resurrected my 1985 shuttle momentarily just to break the start belt and it’s now Inop until that’s replaced. I’ve moved to my shuttle z-T’s because of its ease of starting, my first question is this; since the rotor head of my z-Ts had a broken blade holder and not being able to find one as of yet I took the head off the 85 and everything mounted right up no issues, is this ok? Secondly I’ve dialed in the appropriate throttle and pitch curves as well as revo mix but have little to no tail control whatsoever and the rudder servo will only travel in one direction. I’ve set this thing up over and over to the point of lunacy. I thought it’s time to ask for a bit of help please.

![]() I have tail control now it was a linkage issue and I’ve ordered all of the parts to fix the original rotor head. For anyone that wants to know, yes you can directly swap an 85 rotor head onto a shuttle (90’s) model and it’ll work, flies ok (a little sluggish) but it gives stick time none the less. Personally, as I play with the throttle and pitch curves. The more responsive it becomes. It seems it likes a faster rotor speed than the original challenge rotor head or maybe it’s just me...

![]() Good to know, they are quite different to look at. In general over the years the changes to the shuttle are very subtle. Put an 85 odel next to a 2001 model and they look largely the same but the look closer and the are quite different. On ebay they all get lumped together as Hirobo Shuttles.
