![]() I'm holding both an original Leggero Gorilla Gear and the new 700X XLpower "Gorilla" skids.
Superficially, they look the same and dimensionally are identical (as far as I can tell). But the plastic composite on the XL version is stiffer. I think it will still flex but the risk of "cracking" the item on a hard landing will be higher. The original gear is practically indestructible as far as I can see (and have crashed). ![]() HTH, Paolo
