Is it machined from a solid chunk of alu or is it cast and machined after? Billet refers to solid alu fwiw.

Looks like the rest of their stuff, cheap and tacky.
I'll stick with my genuine Compass head thanks.

Oh, come on, it only has one hole tapped into the head instead of two. It's totally different.

I wouldn't mind social media so much if it didn't involve people.

LOL! Not to mention the tubes look like thick straws! All they need is the stripe! Such innovation!

It's funny it has never bothered me when Align stuff gets cloned, but this just feels wrong! They didn't even try to make it their own.

All those cheap clones have probably been good for Align, because they sell a ton of parts to the poor souls that buy them.

Actually, Align owns a few of the companies that do the cloning, so I don't think they're getting screwed at all. Eventually, most of those guys put genuine Align stuff on anyways and they make almost double on parts over kits, so not much of a loss whatsoever.

On the flip side, this proves that Sebastian must have done a good job as imitation is the purest form of praise!!

I wasn't insulting the Chaos. I don't think it looks bad. It was interesting to me how much it was taking from the Compass FBL design. I've not been tempted by Chaos, but at least it is copying the best design. Those HK series helis are such a featherweight edition...they appear to be flimsy by comparison. This copy appears to be actual replication. The head block shape is exact in shape.

So much so that I wonder if it was laser scanned and 3D printed for prototyping.
