Parkzone FW-190 Park Flyer
Hey guys!
I finally got to maiden my FW-190 that I got for my birthday. I put together both an unboxing, maiden flight, and review video for those considering getting it and a video with just the maiden flight. Here are my review notes for this plane: Cons: - Elevator needs more throws; low rates did not provide enough elevator throw - Rudder and steerable tail-wheel out of sync - Not available in Plug and Play option Pros: - Lands well in grass - Amazing detail and paint finish - Rolls well on low rates - Loops well on high rates GB |

good stuff!
I've flown a bunch of the parkzone warbirds. T-28, spitfire, P-47, and a couple of the micros. I really enjoy flying them, they are just nice and relaxing. I am sure I will fly my P-47 100+ times this summer. Other than that I am getting into flying some other types of planks. Really enjoying flying my 3D foamies, I am building the new Twisted Hobbies RCF 48" Extra 300 that I am really looking forward to flying. Then I have some other planks that go 80-90+ mph so satisfy the speed bug! |

Hey guys!
This is the third flight with my newest RC Warbird. I take-off and land off of grass in the wind in the video. After my first two flights went so well with this plane (both were caught on video), I waited to fly it again when I had someone there to video my next flight just in case things took a turn for the worst. You know, the law of averages? My landing wasn't exactly perfect like the one on my second flight, but all in all I am pretty happy with how everything went, especially considering the wind and the cameraman's arms getting tired just when I adjusted to the windy conditions lol |

This is what this plane looks and flies like with retracts and the drop tank. This is also some of the best flying I have ever recorded on video. Ignore the landing, this plane is a tough beast to land on pavement:

Hey GB.......The actual landing itself was a perfect 2 pointer ....... just not sure if you hit a bit of aileron as you landed which made it tip to the right and then maybe you tried to correct with some rudder ??? which could be why it suddenly veered off to the left ?Also if the ground is not smooth it will throw the plane off as well.
So yeah ... not too bad a landing .. don't beat yourself over that. Make sure your wheels have a slight "toe in" when fully down, this can help with tracking when taking off and landing

Almost bought this, thanks for sharing, and your videos are great. Also what type of helicopters do you fly.
