Default Jlog2 Jeti rex10 went for a moment bind mode

Hello Tom !

I have hook Jeti Rex10, HW200 and Jlog2....The reciver is powered by standard 4X Nimh barey, since the HW200 have no BEC....

Everything work like it seems too work now, even the temparature, mah consuption is a bit high, stand still.... since all the updates...

But I noticed something strange.....Sometimes I get "bind" signal once or twice, from the transmiter in power up cycle of the reciver....Is this have something to doo with Jlog2 since is conected in EXT port, wich is used also for bind konector....

Any ideas ?

Regards

Again and again...

EXT port: pin on low (<=0.8V) at startup means: enter bind mode.

At time of powerup JLog is connected to this pin.
Both devices get power at the same time.
The Rx has two odds:
- It is asking too early for the logic level at this pin.
- High is made by an MCU internal pullup resistor only - which is of rather high resistance.
JLog: Powerless electronics is nothing else than an unpredictable non-linear resistor.

Guess what happens..

An external pullup of lower resistance (let's say 10..5k) at EXT's sig pin would help. At the other end of the pullup 3.3V, - not more theoretically. 5..6V may still work, even 8.4V - but this may be dangerous for both, receiver and JLog.

What If I plug Jlog in E1 port ?

E1 port is not for binding.....
