Default Jlog 2.6 or S32? New to Jlog and telementery

As mentioned in the title I am new to telementery and want to start getting more out of my Jeti TX. So what advantages are there going with the S32 instead of the Jlog 2.6?
I want data from my ESC (either a HW 120 V4 of CC Edge 100 amp) for head speed and probably an altimeter to start with and maybe expand from there with RFID for battery info.

I have been trying to find a manual for the S32, does anyone have a link?

Apreciate any advice.

There is no manual except for the website for S32. But, the S32 terminal app has great tool tips that explain what everything is. I don't use hobbywing or castle, but I believe S32 is better especially for Hobbywing. I think for the 160 in particular it does some corrections for the ESC temperatures that the 2.6 can't do.

Here are some links to product information on the jLog and S32. I'd recommend the S32 at this point in time.

Hi!

Sorry for the delay, I'm quite busy..

The terminal is the documentation itself. Just install it and play, does not need a S32 connected for that.

In contrary to JLog2.x there is no online manual for JLog3 (S32) than only some supplementary information. With respect to some basics the manual for JLog2.x may anyway a bit helpful (German).

Well, since my German is total sh*te, it looks like I am going to have to go with the S32.

No, I don't. But I am a Micheal Schumacher fan if that is any consolation.

Is the 2.6 still available?

Im mainly after something to send rpm (headspeed), voltage etc through to my Jeti from Castle ESCs.

Also can anyone advise the best place to purchase from if you live in Australia?

Thanks!

Hi!

Australia.. I believe there is no dealer, not sure.
So for Autralia from a European dealer or from China .
Just use MHM.

Castle ESC: S32 is better for that.

JLog2.6: There is no further development due to memory contraints what was one main reason for moving everything onto a new platform. Better to go for S32.
