Question HW 100A v3 connector size

Hello guys, I have just received the 100A ESC and noticed all wires are 12awg and the motor connectors are 4mm. It is to be used in a 515mm blade heli for 3D, do you think those connetors are good for a 100Amp esc?

Honesty I expected 10awg battery wires and at least 5mm motor bullet connectors for this esc size.

12 AWG is fine as long as you have airflow.

the 120Av4 version has also 12AWG

just my 2 cents

Thanks, maybe as the average amperage is not that high they will be ok. Anyway I will change the motor side connectors with a 5mm Supra X bullets for peace of mind.

The HobbyWing 130A HV comes with 12AWG battery and motor wires. It held up to my flying and the wires didn't come down abnormally warm. It's fine.

Honestly 10AWG is probably oversized for anything unless you run a monster motor and a big ESC (And you actually fly hard enough to need them).

Cool Got it

Wow a 700 with 4mm motor to ESC bullets. Ok in that case I will not bother in changing the bullets as this is only a 500 scale helicopter. In any case I noticed that the motor that comes with the kit already has installed 4mm male bullets so wont bother changing them with a bigger size.

Thank you guys for all the responses!
