I think any glue which is "gooey" and does not attack plastic will be fine for this purpose. I used uhu glue from stationary store.

I bought a used Swift 550 Carbon, with a full metal head. When trying to setup the head, I can't the get these arms leveled? I'm trying to use the sets screws with the flat spots on the flybar. Is that correct? Thanks

I bought the swift16 not too long ago, and they have changed the flybar. the arms are slightly unlevel, no big deal. It just makes getting the paddles on level a little harder but setting up the head is no different as long as you do it like finless show's.

So Finless, the new Swift NX is here. If I remember right, you sold your Swift and thus haven't flown one is a while, but it would be interesting to see you revisit this heli and give us your opinion of the new version.

Actually I gave it away in the Hawaiian challange contest I ran. I have a few heli in the plan coming up but if Century wants me to later I certainly can and will.

I have a Century 620 Electric Airwolf Scale Kit that utilizes the Swift NX mechanics. In your video the Pinion Gear I meshed with the SINGLE Maid Drive Gear. The mechanics I'm working with are two main gears. Am I supposed to do the pinion gear meshing only onto the upper gear. Your video shows a white main gear but the two large gears on my "Swift NX Mechanics" are Black. Your input would be much appreciated.

The original swift did not have a driven tail for auto rotations, which is why it only has the single main gear. The NX incorporates a driven tail which is why you have two gears. You should only have to mesh the pinion with the upper gear.

Hi

I have seen your videos on how to dial indicate a collet style flywheel. But what do you do if you have a screw in type flywheel like those that are supplied with the SDX? How to correct the runout? This is on a OS 55 that does not accept a woodruff key.


Here is my runout. Clearly unacceptable.
